My Current Project
Tale of the Four Winds by Scott Kay
I think one of the most important parts of this story is how Joshua is given a chance to build a family after losing everything as a boy. He lost his parents before his teens and later as he prepares to finish college he discovers a biological and chosen family that has been around him all along.
He is faced with complicated antagonists and supporting characters that push him as our narrator to challenge himself at every turn. In the beginning he routinely fails, but keeps his head up and pushes on.
There are all kinds of supernatural creatures around him including vampires, gargoyles, and ghosts. We also meet Nephilim (half angel and half human), a necromancer and others.
When the angels get involved things get super complex. See how Joshua, Caleb, Enoch, and Fiona try and save the world.
